Itinerary
Day 1

ARRIVAL CHIANG MAI

Arrive in Chiang Mai, to be welcomed and transferred to hotel.
Afternoon Visit the oldest temples in Chiang Mai and drive through many different parts of the northern capital, passing residential areas, notable foreign establishments, stylish government buildings. The three main temples in the center are; “Chedi Luang Temple” where the Emerald Buddha was once enshrined; “Phra Singh Temple” with a 1,500-year old Buddha image, and “Suan Dok Temple” where the ashes of Chiang Mai’s Royal Family are interred. Continue 16 kilomters northeast climbing 1000 meters to the base of the 300 naga stair case (Dragon-headed serpent) which in turn leads up to Wat Phrathat or simply known as “Doi Suthep”. The less energetic will be pleased to know that there is a cable car up to the hill. The panoramic views of the city from the temple ground are truly spectacular.

Day 2

CHIANG MAI

American Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning After breakfast, visit an elephant training camp, located in a pleasant forested valley provides a demonstration of the skill, intelligence, good humor and strength of the working elephants. Continue to visit Hmong Nong Hoi Mai hilltribe village and the Royal Project. On the way back, visit Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden and Orchid Farm.
Lunch at a local restaurnat.
Afternoon After lunch, visit the famous Chiang Mai Handicraft Center (San Kamphaeng); the umbrella factory to see how umbrella frames and paper are made. Then visit a primitive teak wood-carving factory, a silk and cotton-weaving factory and factories which produce many other local products.
19:00 Kantoke Dinner.
Enjoy a superb Northern Thai Dinner with folk dances and hilltribes presentations at Old Chiang Mai Cultural Center.

Day 3

CHIANG MAI

American Breakfast at the hotel.
08:30 Pick up and depart Chiang Mai for Lampoon. This half-day trip will take you back to the region’s historico-legendary beginnings. Queen Chamadevi, the north’s greatest founding figure, brought Buddhism and an advanced culture from Lopburi in central Thailand in 8th Century. Here at her capital, you will have a visit at one of the region’s most venerated temples, Wat Haripoonchai (founded 1157), and then look around Wat Chamadevi, especially dedicated to the Queen. Lunch in a local restaurant. Return to Chiang Mai and transfer you to the hotel.
After returning to the hotel, relax with hotel’ spa treatments.
19:00 Evening Dinner at Le Crystal Restaurant, a famous restaurant in Chiang Mai.

DEPARTURE CHIANG MAI

American Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer from the hotel to Chiang Mai Airport for flight to next destination.
